Sunny arrived at Fireside as a 15-month old rescue dog. She was given to us by her breeder, and I'm pleased to have known her. At her first Flat-Coated Retriever Society of America's National Specialty, she showed what true Flat-Coat spirit is, by going Winner's Bitch and Best of Winner's, owner-handled! She had come a long way from when we picked her up and started rehabing her. Sunny went on to finish her Championship, earn a Utility Dog title in obedience, a Junior Hunter and Working Certificate Excellent title in the field.
